Upon My Path, Walk With me
Upon my path of life Lord, please walk with me.
Teach me Thine own love that I may live victoriously.
I know that you are Lord; I know you came as a babe.
I now know your love and that it shall never fade.
Hold my hand Lord Jesus and let me ever be,
In your trust and love forever, through all of history.
Let me count my blessings and cross my heart to Thee.
Let me also give unto Thee, all praise and true glory.
You have kept my path clean and pure, nothing amiss.
My soul is yours Lord Jesus; I would not resist.
We talk of sin; we whisper things of Thy glory too.
However, inside my heart and soul Lord, I want you.
You have given so much to this life, which is mine.
I want (in all respect) to let my heart be Thine.
I know you have prayed for us all, because you love.
I know you will keep my heart and soul nearby, above
Help me watch in the clear morning light, there, above.
Help me to know at night, that there is still Thy love.
Whether dark or light that you are there, I have no doubt.
Lord, help me ever to remember; you art always about.
