  • Upon My Parth

Upon My Path, Walk With me

Upon my path of life Lord, please walk with me.
Teach me Thine own love that I may live victoriously.
I know that you are Lord; I know you came as a babe.
I now know your love and that it shall never fade.

Hold my hand Lord Jesus and let me ever be,
In your trust and love forever, through all of history.
Let me count my blessings and cross my heart to Thee.
Let me also give unto Thee, all praise and true glory.

You have kept my path clean and pure, nothing amiss.
My soul is yours Lord Jesus; I would not resist.
We talk of sin; we whisper things of Thy glory too.
However, inside my heart and soul Lord, I want you.

You have given so much to this life, which is mine.
I want (in all respect) to let my heart be Thine.
I know you have prayed for us all, because you love.
I know you will keep my heart and soul nearby, above

Help me watch in the clear morning light, there, above.
Help me to know at night, that there is still Thy love.
Whether dark or light that you are there, I have no doubt.
Lord, help me ever to remember; you art always about.

  • WHATT !?!?!?!?!!!!!!!

    Part 2

    DAY 1.

    Friday.

Independence day come. One week before, I have prepared a list of those who will receive recognition from the Big Boss. I came up with 19 names. I have ordered the frames with 2 extra blanks for “just-in-case I forgot somebody” moment. Theatre has been booked by the Big Boss’ secretary.
I waited for my boss to return from his meeting with the BOSS. It was 5.30 pm. Office hour finishes at 4 pm.

He came down and sat on my cublicle and wrote a TO DO List for me.
    The list goes like this:
    1. Frames should be ready by Monday. (The event was on Tuesday).
    2. A senior colleagues to announce the names so the BOSS would only have to handed the certificate.
    3. A podium. (I was like WHHHAAATTTT????? That’s not part of my job!!!!)
    4. A table to put the certificates.
    5. Booked the room for the event. I told him that the BOSS’s PA has done that.
    6. I have to make sure – on the weekend – that they deliver the frames. MY GOD!!!!

He asked whether the Frames will be ready by Monday.
I told him that it would.
He got back to me with “How do you know?” (WHHHATTTTT??????)
When I responded with what does he mean by how do I know.
He exhales and inhales…… (as if I was a moron)
and said that I should checked with the section incharge of framings.
I told him that they would be ready.
    He said when.
    I told him Monday.
He said Monday is public Holiday.
I told him that they would still deliver it to us by Monday.
    He said what time.
(WWHHAATTT???? HOW THE FUCK SHOULD I KNOWWW????????)
I told him that they would be delivered sometimes Monday Noon.
(I made that one up. I have no friggin idea on the timings!!!! If there is a God, Monday would be a good time to prove it!!!).
He asked if I had told the Satpams about the delivery.
    (I….WHAAATTTTT???????????)
I manage to gather a polite NO.
    He asked why.
(This is the part where I almost bang my head onto a fucking wall, or in this case, his)
I told him that our colleagues in charge of the framings must have arranged it.
He asked how would I know.
I… I got nothing... I actually dont have a comeback to that.
    An awkward silence.
He then called the satpam to let them know of a delivery on public holiday and asked if they could put the delivery in his office as soon as they arrive.
    I exhale quietly.
He asked “What?” (As if he had done nothing)
I work up the courage to tell him that it was not my job.
He said that I have to check everything. *end of story
    He left.
    I left.

    Day 2.

    Tuesday.

I came in really early to check on the frames.
They are all there. Fuih. Whaddaya know. There is a God after all.
Maybe there isn’t. There is just something called professionalism.
I could kiss my co-workers for a job well done. But I didn’t.
    The boss came.
    He’s happy.
He asked if they were all there.
    I told him I haven’t check.
He called in my co-worker in charge of the framings and asked her to help me do the checking.
    I was in no hurry.
I just had my nails done, damn it!
Like that was not enough, he called in 2 more people in to his office to do the same thing.
    What am I, Crippled?
So there we were 4 people checking on 19 names in the frames. What a waste of time…
He told me to bring them downstairs where the event will be.
    I said OK.
He asked if I needed help.
    I said No.
I called in one of our handyman with a trolley to take the frames downstairs.
He asked if I need help with arranging the frames downstairs.
    That’s it…I’ve had it.
    I told him NO!
I think he gets it this time.
I went downstairs to arrange the frames and to check on the mic.
    Everything’s ok.
I came back up and asked the boss if he wants to check the room himself. He said he trusted me.
    Yeah, right!
He asked if I could print 3 more copies of the certificate recipients.
As I was printing he was hovering my cubicle.
I have to be patient. I have to be patient. I have to be patient.
I tried to calm him down.
He was calmed. For 2 secs.
After the printing. He’s gone to see the BOSS.
Then we all went downstairs to celebrate the Independence day.
There were a lot of foods.
I saw my “I wish he was my better half” right across the corner.
But I was too nervous about the event to talk to him.
    There were photo sessions.
But I didn’t feel like it. Odd?? Yeah!
After a speech, the BOSS presented the certificates.
After that it was time to eat.
But I went back to my cubicle instead. I was to nervous I could vomit.
    Everything went well.

Until Murphy’s Law took a turn.

    I missed one name!

    Bugger!!! Fuckkkkk!!!

She complaints to HR section. The HR brought it up to my boss.
I told my boss about it.
    He asked me about it.
He tried to look cool but I knew He was anything but cool about it.
    Damn it!
I have to confess to the BOSS about this.
And He also would not be cool about it.
    I am so lame!

Then the boss say thanks for a job well done and apologise for being nervous because the BOSS is making him.
I told him “you’re welcome” and said that he was suppose to be the one to calm me down. Not the other way around.

I spent half the day trying to make someone else feels as guilty as I was for missing that one person a certificate from the BOSS.

The HR Manager was trying to pin this on me.
She’s one of the 3 bitches that ran the section.
She talks about how the one person missed was complaining to the HR section. And that HR has no knowledge whatsoever about the certificate. And that HR will investigate it. And blah blah blah.

I had to restrain my self from strangling her in order to shut her up.

It’s been a long day bitch!!!

So I told her that I’ve fucked up.
I thought it would shut her up. HUH, was I wrong!
She rambles about where I had my information from. Blah…blah…Blah.

I manage to escape when I saw my boss came out of his office.

I guess you don’t have to go far to meet bitches. We gotta lotta that right here.

I’ll think about how am I gonna solve that one later.

I got other things to do right now.

I didn’t even meet the gank today. Bummer.

    Miss them already.

I hope none of this ever happened to anyone else.

    Love,
    Morgan

  • WHATTTTTT.....?!?!?!?!?!?!

    Part 1

I have been nagging to my boss to increase the reimbursement money for spectacles and dental. Nag and Nag and Nag. Day after day. Every time the subject emerges to every conversation, I would nag and he would say “NO”.

He kept saying that it is within the employee’s responsibilities. But I told him that it would effecting the quality of the employee’s work if he/she can’t read properly or blind for trying to read things that cant be read by eyes who doesn’t have the proper tool to see or having a pain in the ass or in this case in the mouth because he/she cant afford a good dentist! Boss is really good in making scenarios. I do too.

The final straw he said he doesn’t care.
I told him that he should.
    He couldn’t care less.

I told him that the amount has not been increased for the past 3 friggin years. His response was “So?”
It was jaw dropping. But what can I do? He’s God in this place. All I can wish was that he somehow find rational thinking that it is only reasonable to increase it. Please note that he doesn’t have a heart.

After weeks of argument. He signed a minute to all staff advising that the Management has agreed to increase the dental coverage. He doubles it! He does not increase the spectacle reimbursement though, because he was advised that 500,000 will cover your average spectacles for a year. He was right on that.. noting that you were after for the spectacles and not DOLCE. Bastards!

    So we published the minute.

Do you know what my idiot co-worker responded?

He said that my boss’ call was only normal. That's it!

He who complaints that-he-has-to pay-an additional-million rupis-out-of-is-own-pocket every fucking day.

    WHATTTT????????? You Fucking idiot!

My nagging to my boss moment flashes right before my eyes. I could have just let my boss not to increase anything, and this so called co-worker can complain for all I fucking care!!!

I don’t want him to thank me. NO. Just have the courtesy to say “good” to my boss’ decision or at least have the decency to shut the fuck up! Is that so hard?

    Maybe the boss is right.
    I cared too much.
And look what it got me, irritated by an imbecile who can’t appreciate a good thing when he sees one. Hence the glasses.

Then again, you what they say: Those who can’t do, complaints.
